Create a Submission

Creating a submission allows you to complete the information requirements needed to underwrite the type of insurance you are looking for.

After completing your company profile, you should be redirected to the Dashboard page. From there, follow these steps:

Click on Create a Submission

Confirm your NAICS Code

Confirm the NAICS code you previously selected when creating a company profile. Or, you can also change your NAICS code to search for other types of insurance applicable to any specific code. You can search by keyword or by code number directly.

NAICS Classification:

Short for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), we use NAICS classification guidelines to map insurable risks to given industries. If you need further help finding the appropriate 6-digit NAICS code for your operations, access the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Canada 2022 Version 1.0 page.

Select the insurance for which you want to create a submission

You can only select one insurance line at a time. However, you can repeat the submission creation process for the number of lines desired.

Complete details regarding your submission

Follow the prompts and answer remaining questions regarding your submission.

Regarding brokerages:

At this time, all insurance lines shown through Bound Platform require the use of a licensed insurance broker or agent in the corresponding state or province of the insured's operations. If you work with a brokerage currently and want to remain with this brokerage, you can directly connect them to your submission. If you do not work with an insurance brokerage currently, we will, based on your requirements, provide a selection of choices, some of which we are and are not affiliated with.

Complete the required forms

You can choose to complete the forms at this time or later as the forms are saved to your submission. Once all forms are submitted, you will be notified that your submission has been received.

If you do not see forms:

We may not always show the forms right when you create the submission for various reasons. If this is the case, we will send you an email directly when the forms are accessible and the appropriate link to access them.
